These are lessons we need in every age, including today. New episodes will drop Fridays until the book of James is finished.\n\n\nAbout your host: my name is Cameron Lee. I am a Professor of Family Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary, where I’ve taught since 1986; I am also a Certified Family Life Educator and a licensed minister and teaching pastor. James 1:13-15 teaches that we shouldn't blame temptation on God. But different translations of the letter give us different readings; the same word can be translated as either trial, or test, or temptation. Which is the right reading, and what is James trying to say? We'll explore these questions.
